“Let’s get the positive out of the way - it has good sound quality and production quality.
Ok. That’s it. Both seasons are utterly impossible to listen to. There is SO MUCH filler, deadspace, over dramatization, repetition, etc.
A decent editor would be able to condense this into 1/3 the length as it stands in either episode.
Doing a podcast on high profile serial murders is such a soft toss. It’s embarrassingly easy to make it decent just because the stories are so compelling.
What we have here is someone underhand tossing a softball to a supposed professional ball player who swings and misses so hard he falls, breaks his bat, and stabs himself in the thigh with a massive splinter.
This team shouldn’t be working in this field.”
