“I listened to this podcast religiously while pregnant, and it was the most incredible source of valuable information preparing to give birth in a foreign country in a highly medicalised system. I felt so much more empowered by simply having a birth education; I went into it feeling really positive and mentally prepared, accepting as well that things rarely go as planned. I was not offered any birthing classes here, and this podcast taught me everything I know. It strikes an excellent balance between presenting a very broad range of issues and talking about how the system often lets women down, but also provides so many positive birth stories that inspire us to trust our bodies, our babies, our intuition and our innate strength as women.
