Episode 381 Anesthesia

Another outstanding episode and discussion about sedation and escalation to anesthesia. Collaboration with anesthesia and building their resources into your IR platform improves access and effectiveness. It’s more than an anesthesia machine. Getting their Omnicell and proper gas access into the room while formalizing escalation strategy has been effective at our institution. Bringing anesthesia in has drastically improved our patient experience and also has elevated our ability to do more advanced procedures that take time or cause pain.
