Compassion
Barbara, this was an amazing PODCAST. Evil Genius was amazing so I was delighted to hear you were doing this. There is no true Monster in this series but there is someones truth. Sadly Jennair could not tread out of the depths of not only her depression, degrading self worth…and the betrayal but the tragedy of it all and from what I heard her true hatred for Mark. She was in danger from the beginning of the relationship because of her dependence on him, I also feel he was in danger from the beginning. She didn’t want kids, she made the decisions, she dragged this out for a reason and he just never wanted to make waves so to speak. I can say this, it did bring tears, anger, sympathy but mostly finally some compassion for everyone involved…Compassion is something Mark has in abundance It was very well done, although not all of what Dr. Ramani stated about Mark is true in my opinion. I don’t think he is a Narcissist in any way. Everyone causes pain to someone they love. Also I lived with one… I still feel that everyone is fearful of labeling Jennair as one… which she was!! Psychologically organized was a broad phrase as she wasn’t. Also women and men have affairs. Mark’s compassion and story helped me get out of a 7 year long Narcissistic abusive relationship which could have killed me. Very well done, but as per most discussions and views…this is mine as well. This was a tragedy, still is for all who loved Meredith, Jennair and Mark. Remember everything was recorded by Jennair, so Mark was demonized. He wanted his independence and because that was really the bottom line here, she did what she always set out to do…ruin his independence. I’m so glad you included excerpts from Merediths sister. Very well done. Mark is not perfect that is for sure, but who is? My thoughts and prayers and sympathy to all those who put one step in front of the other to move forward with this tragedy on their shoulders.💜

I had the opportunity to interview Mark Gerardot for my own podcast. It was truly heartbreaking to hear the things he endured as well as Jennair during their marriage. He has pain from ALL that happened even during the marriage and of course after tragedy struck for all parties. Meredith, Jennair...Read full review »

Wow! What a great story. The flow of this is fantastic. I binged it in one day so far while cleaning. I am now looking into “finding another gem”

I’m a fickle listener, I’ve tried hundreds of True Crime podcasts and I’ve never been as sucked in as I am two episodes into this one!
