Love Laura Beil’s work? Listen to this podcast.
I had not heard of Laura Biel before binging the Doctor Death podcast. Once I listened, I immediately took to Google and searched for her previous work and background. I often read an article or listen to a podcast with information learning something I had not been aware of. But before I take anything as fact, I always research it a bit more to confirm what I’ve learned. I’ll often find the content I consumed was partially correct or based on a particular expert’s opinion who is an outlier in their field. So, learning that Laura had over 20 years of experience in science and health journalism, and completed some education in these areas I felt a bit relieved. Her reporting is different than most to me for a few specific reasons. She always refers to published studies you can actively research on your own, legitimate resources a healthcare consumer can use. She can translate science and medical speak into easy and understandable content without dumbing it down too far, she understands the consumer information gap and really speaks to it. Above all she is a master storyteller. Her approach weaves a handful of compelling and specific patient experiences into the narrative as a vehicle to address the larger issues occurring within the U.S.A. healthcare system. I can’t wait to hear about the topic for her next podcast!

Good podcast- you guys really need to put less adds or at least think about where you are putting them. It cheapens the content in this podcast and every podcast I have listened to by wonders

Once again, Wondrey crushes it. This podcast is fantastic and well researched. A ! To those complaining about ads- Ads are everywhere, what makes you think they shouldn’t be in a podcast? Just skip them, crybabies.
