Nikola series was terrific—excellent job reporting and being human about the stories people were sharing.

I was listening to three of the WSJ podcast regularly, but there are no more new episodes. These were so much better than a lot of what is out now (too much millennial-splaining). Fun to hear the multi episode journalism.

I hope the WSJ makes a third season. This is an intriguing podcast telling the stories of business fraud through the voices of those who experienced it first hand

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Can’t seem to find any information on whether there will be a 3rd Season. Maybe something on FTX?

Enjoyed rehashing this 20 years after the fact. Enron didn’t pave the way for corporate malfeasance, but it did in the way of modern coverage - the ‘digital’ age, perhaps. Ending with a heart attack in Aspen, go figure…

Intriguing, informative. I am happy to have found this podcast.

When are more seasons/episodes coming out?? This is arguably the WSJ’s best podcast.

I really enjoyed the series, very well structured and researched. It is always great to learn from past “mistakes”, hopefully this series can continue on!

Terrific story telling. Ben Foldy has a great voice. The episodes roll over smoothly. Love the various (real life) characters - especially the whistleblowers - full of curiosity, determination and courage. They face down Trevor Milton’s hubris with selfless grace. Don’t want the season to end!...Read full review »

I hadn’t heard of Nikola until this podcast. This is now probably my third time listening to it, it’s so good! The delivery is straightforward, sticking to the facts, not unnecessarily dramatic, but still super interesting because the story itself is so bonkers! I appreciate the time the reporter...Read full review »

This podcast series has the makings of a very interesting film. The episode with the meeting in Madison Square Park provided an unexpected moment of intrigue. The ending was also bittersweet. Hoping for a bonus episode after the sentencing.

After all these years I couldn’t recall what the Enron scandal was all about. Thanks for the nice review. As for the Trevor Milton tale, what a guy! I hope there will be more outrageous tales of businesses gone bad.

Both last year’s Enron episode and this year’s Trevor Milton were really well done cautionary tales which are well worth listening to. Very much looking forward to next year’s!!

Very impressive serialization of detailed business and financial crises and criminality. Distills complex issues into comprehensible audio chapters. Top quality like the WSJ should provide.

Season 1 was amazing. I can’t wait for Fridays to come. I love the combination of business insights, contextual setting with the dramatic effects that only radio can convey.

When you find a reporter willing to spend the time and do the research, support their work. This is a cautionary tale that lies and betrayal will come back to you.
