“Mr. Carreyrou, your reporting and book were top-notch and I hope you will continue. This podcast, though, was too uneven to garner 5 stars. You do know that federal judges do not “often” take the federal sentencing guidelines into account, but are REQUIRED to do so, don’t you? I hope you simply misspoke because of nerves in the last episode, in your preface to a question you posed regarding what sentence Ms. Holmes will be likely to receive. I enjoyed the podcasts you produced but, as others have remarked, found the unpredictability of their release frustrating.”
