I enjoyed this podcast. I’m not actually interested in “Ripperology” but I found this to be an interesting study in the general experience of the lower classes in Victorian London. But Halle’s narration, while compelling, is also a little smug and self-righteous. She’s at her best talking about the history and should leave the information about current theories alone. Also, can someone explain why she sounds English when she’s narrating and American when she’s interviewing someone?
