Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your heart and soul in the Solo podcast. I felt like you were reading a chapter out of my life. Minus the fact that I’ve never been in a relationship but few situationships\friendlationships that took emotional tolls on me. And the shame of being 33 and not experiencing the beauty of a full relationship because of similar things you mentioned -fearing to share the affection I want or need with anyone else. On top of that I’ve let work be everything despite being passionless about so many aspects of it- I had incredible work stress for the past 5 years until I just recently decided to courageously make decisions of how I really want to spend my time on this earth and in the spaces I’m in. Such a process —but I literally said the words ‘I’m so glad to be alive right now’ the other day. I haven’t felt or said that in such a long time. I completely related to what you shared. The vulnerability was real in this episode. I believe that what you shared is healing for not just me but others listening. The only thing I feel I can say is ‘Thank you ‘ but behind that ‘thank you’ there’s so much relief ...so much comfort and peace that came from listening in to your personal solo moment. Imagine my ‘Thank you’ as one huge virtual hug from one sister to another. -Kendra
