“I was out to sea during 9-11 and didn’t actually know about Band of Brothers until late 2002. What a masterpiece, especially having met a hero of that war in 2016. It reminds me to continue to wear this uniform with pride and to be an example that we desperately need today. Like many others, I watch this show every year. It has helped me during our isolation period when COVID hit the USS Roosevelt and during times where I feel alone. True heroes of an era that shaped our nation.”
