It's hard to find good podcasts geared specifically to bass players. It's even harder to find podcasts geared to bass players who serve on a worship team. The Bass Guitar Worship Blender Podcast is where bass and worship come together.

Memorize This - Secular Musicians Are Kicking Our Butts So How Do We Fix It - Episode 28
Sorry to get heavy on you, but secular musicians laugh at us when we struggle to memorize 4 songs a week. As worship musicians we should be the ones setting the higher standard.

Lighten Your Load - It’s Bass Quest Time - Ep. 26
In this episode we lighten our load by *GASP* selling 2 MusicMan Stingray basses in order to "Make Room" for something new. Brent also gets on a soapbox about bass weight before sharing a recording of his worship team performing a song... minus the worship team....

Ian Burns, Boutique Basses and a Goose - Episode 24
In this episode I do an "Average Joe" interview with my new friend Ian Burns. Since the interview is in person, I get to check out his collection of boutique basses while learning about his pre-Jesus history touring in a popular secular band. Oh, and we get interrupted by his loud goose...

Jesse Phillips of Church of the City - Episode 23
In this episode we interview Jesse Phillips, bassist at Church of the City. Jesse is a talented musician with a great list of credentials (Church of the City, Chris McClarney, Christy Nockels, Aaron Shust, etc.). But the coolest thing about him is his heart for Christ and a desire to build up others in the Kingdom.

What a gem!
Very informative to a very specific audience! Wish you all the best!
Good Stuff!
Brent does a great job as a “boots on the ground” bassist in worship. There are not a lot of podcasts with this specific focus and I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing. I’m primarily a guitar player in church but I have been falling in love with bass and this podcast has been very helpful!
Finally a podcast for Church Bassists
This podcast shares tips, tricks & experience from the studio and live (very “alive”) experiences & testimonies from different nuances of journeys in music ministry. I’d love to hear from some Caribbean and Gospel bassists one day.
