Last year was too perfect. It was a real Disney fairy tale. The Bucs won eight straight games in a row, beating Washington, New Orleans, and Green Bay on the road, and taking down the Chiefs, finally, at home, in the Super Bowl. The Patriots were at home. Tom Brady proved that he will forever be the greatest quarterback of all time, with a head to head win over his young incumbent. It’s almost as if the whole thing was rigged, rather than it being another example of the universe, perfect and exact, folding things into a perfect shape.
