Some of the podcast is puerile. Some of it is unintelligible gobbledegook. Discussions just discuss at a very low level missing salient points to hone in on. Skipping over obvious questions. Frustrating.

Elon Delaware episode, was expecting some basic benchmark, e.g. compare to GM compensation package and business results. Deeper look into the case.

Horrendous accent, speaks too quickly, very hard to understand. Want to listen to the FT, not some hyperactive individual.

I love the podcast host on this! Strong breakdown of newsy subjects that bring you a better sense of understanding. Highly recommend!

Decent subjects and well researched, let down by presenter overdoing the vocal fry making it a hard listen.

Good show but the presenter is a hard for me to listen to- please change!

Worthwhile show but Michela is not good. “Uh huh uh huh”. Constantly agreeing is not needed. Just ask and move the convo forward

Asking questions others won’t about the real impact of financial practice impacting the broader economy. The podcast needs further deep dive to reveal generational opportunities for optimization of capitalism in practice. For example, the episode shedding light on share buyback & its...Read full review »

This podcast is always interesting and I can listen during short coffee breaks. I appreciate the point of view from younger people- we already have enough commentary by conservative old white men in the business world.

Atonal journalism - hard to listen to the presentet.

The night school theme on important economic topics is a good idea. The current presentation style is wearing and you just want to switch off.

Really enjoy this series. Always useful and informative. Hosts are good. Peter Spiegel speaks a little too fast for a podcaster. He should slow it down if he can.

Great stories, great reporting, and a really great host. You can tell she has a lot of business reporting experience, she knows how to weave complex financial news into compelling audio stories. Fantastic weekly pod.

Great show, but can we change the presenter? Can’t stand her voice

The FT, for some reason, has been employing annoying Millennial voices as hosts across their podcasts. I simply cannot stand listening to them. Who are you? What have you done? Are you 16 years old?? Then there’s the overall quality of audio production, which is way below standard from the music...Read full review »

While many of the podcasts stick to the facts, others are completely slanted to the left such as the podcast on ESG.

Michela needs some voice training for radio. Her cadence often comes across as immature, and unsure. She also ends many of her questions on a higher note, which makes her seem less informed and less serious than she actually is.

very informative pod cast

That’s not good! Dieser Podcast ist nicht gut! Money rules the world is nonsense! Geld regiert die Welt ist Schwachsinn!

Enthusiastic but deeply shallow the new season offers little of merit I’d rate it less than one PrimarySchoolEconomic 101

Why did FT stopped the episodes? Pls continue!

It’s a fantastic show. There’s nothing quite like it on apple podcasts. Would be awesome if FT could bring it back

Are you kidding? Taking ad money from Phillip Morris, which has apparently become a born-again good corporate citizen planning to wind down cigarette sales over the next 15+ years.

I like Amy’s approach of taking a deep analytical multifaceted dive on a specific phenomenon of the money market each time rather than broad and shallow discussion on many

This is an excellent, well-researched podcast that covers contemporary topics in business and finance. It provides a considerable amount of detail and context given its typical, sub-30 minute, episode length. While I still miss Alphachat, I never miss an episode of this podcast and wish they...Read full review »

This and FT alphachat are must listens, great hosts, guests, and topics. Behind the money focuses more on business and finance and has already had some great episodes in its short run. The episode on GE’s rise and fall as well as the episode on softbank’s vision fund spring to mind. Keep up the...Read full review »

This podcast is outstanding. FT / other experts engaging in deep, proper analysis of the major forces shaping business today

Very insightful, brief stories every week or so. Probably the most informative and interesting financial podcast I’ve heard. Highly recommend.

Lots of information, typical of FT’s top-Tate reporting. No extemporising or pointless speculation. Agree it could be a little longer. Still miss Alphachat!
