BELT: A 2-Man Memoir Joel Tauber and Eric Wilson
-
- Comedy
-
A podcast about masculinity by Joel Tauber and Eric Wilson. Humorous man wisdom. Iconoclastic banter. Where cultural studies bangs into the locker room. Terrified men preen. But they also confess their fears, their desires. Desperate for brotherhood. We are raw, vulnerable. We voice our most intimate stories. We make sense of the forces that have shaped our manhood. Those constructs that invigorate, we embrace. The rest, we quiet. We will be better men.

Emotionally Honest and Funny Men
It’s refreshing and inspiring to hear two men be so honest, emotionally open, and vulnerable about their deepest fears and also to hold them lightly and be hilarious. They’re clearly having fun with being raw about it. If we can all get to this place, I think the world will be better off for it.
Neo-Masculinity by the episode
Wilson and Tauber get behind the wheel of the family sedan and go off-road of the off-roads. Witty and erudite, their repartee shakes out the trappings of masculinity, and offers a glimpse of testosterone reformed and formative. If Hemingway had a secret handshake, this podcast would jerk the heck out of it. Masculinity will never be the same, and it shouldn’t be.
Hilarious
These guys are hysterical. Really enjoyed the banter. I’m excited to hear upcoming podcasts from them.
