It’s not the best, not the worst.
I used to really like this series. I think the first couple years are pretty good. But later on in the series, I kind of feel like they’re hitting the same problem that the HBO showrunners had: running out of material. Honestly, I feel like they’re just saying things to say them now. No, guys, Ser Alliser Thorne is NEVER gonna be on Jon’s side. Come on. Come on.

For a two man podcast they do a great job of explaining the story and the books, and they make good connections between the book and the show. They also explain the history of the houses.

The only reason this pod didn’t get 5 stars for me is because one of the guys says “ya know” every 3 seconds and I have to turn it off every once in a while to escape it. Other than that, great to listen to at work when you can’t stop thinking about GOT between seasons or episodes!

New addition to my weekly listening. Worth a subscribe and download if you love GoT. Show or Books. Either way, it’s great!
