On this Friday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, Sid goes solo as he recaps Attorney General Merrick Garland's press conference yesterday regarding the FBI's raid of former President Donald Trump's residence at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. It's been three days since the raid, so the Attorney General took his sweet time in updating the American people on why exactly him and his Justice Department used the aggressive tactic of a raid to collect information they more than likely could have obtained via subpoena. Much to the chagrin of the Republicans and the American public as a whole, Garland didn't really say much about the reasoning behind the raid. He did acknowledge that he was the one who signed off on the raid personally, which is something that was pretty obvious given his being the big boss of that department. The big question following Garland's presser is whether he himself would face repercussions if the raid on Trump turns out to be just another hoax, like the Russia Collusion hoax or the January 6th hoax. One would think that if that does indeed turn out to be the case, the Attorney General has got to go.
