Unrelatable
I recently unsubscribed. Their target audience is now clearly upper class wealthy women with a lot of resources. Their topics feel really out of touch with what is going on for many working moms right now. They seem blithely unaware of the struggles of those who cannot afford to throw money at everything, and I unsubscribed when I realized listening to them actually made me feel worse, not seen or understood. Not helpful whatsoever. And I used to really like Sarah, but even her blog posts just seem so unrelatable now even though she does seem like a genuinely kind person. There just doesn’t seem much compassion or empathy, and I feel like they’re just so comfortable in their privileged little bubbles. Oh and Laura just sounds mean now and totally out of touch. This is just an aside, but how did she live in NYC for as long as she did without having tried different ethnic foods? That one had me stumped during an episode in which she was promoting a meal service plan her family was using.
