Brandy Gillmore: Healing Through the Mind / Body Connection – Part 2

Would you like to better understand the connection between your mind and your body? Did you know it is possible to live without pain? Lisa continues the conversation today with guest Brandy Gillmore who suffered from a debilitating accident which left her in constant pain and wheelchair-bound, without hope of recovery. During this interview, she will share her groundbreaking discoveries and the story of how she began searching for a cure by studying the mind/body connection.
Her brand-new book is “Master Your Mind and Energy to Heal Your Body.” In the book, Brandy writes about her long healing journey where she tried everything to get better including traditional Western medicine, as well as complementary and alternative means. She also shares key factors that she learned after her injury.
She became very interested in the visual proof of power of the mind using brain imagery and explained how she used medical thermography which will show the areas of heat where the pain and inflammation lie. Brandy shows people how to use their mind to get out of pain. She has shown medically how this is possible. It’s not just mind over matter. There is actual medical proof. She first talks with someone, identifies emotions, then helps them to shift. She knows what is possible if you were to let go of the negative emotions.
The key she says is to identify the specific emotions. She shows scans of people getting out of pain in less than an hour. It’s a daily practice of aligning your mind with your emotions. Some people literally change so they can stay pain-free. If it’s been a long-time pattern, it may take a bit longer to change.
Emotions can show up, for example, when we state things like, “They are a pain in the neck.” The back represents support. If someone has back pain, they may be feeling unsupported in life or feeling like there’s a lack of money. It can show up in a variety of ways.
Some people have shoulder pain. This could be feeling like there’s too much weight on your shoulders or feeling like you need to do it all. It’s possible to get stuck in family patterns including victimhood. The mind can get stuck in these mixed emotions. Unconscious patterns can sabotage us.
Brandy talks about the “Gift” Method. How can an injury actually be a gift? What is it in your subconscious mind that may have contributed? She reminds us that it is possible to change. If you have an illness, something is off in life. When we address it, it becomes a gift. Brandy shows us how you can be your own cure!
She talks about her course and how it helps you to access new neural pathways. She discusses how we create patterns, both positive and negative, and because of this, it is possible to repattern the mind.
It’s also possible to reprogram generational scarcity. You can heal with your mind and achieve real change. You can change your mindset. Is there fear involved with money? Are there negative feelings around money? It is possible to change these emotions.
Brandy also demonstrates a short exercise which shows how to program your mind for positive healing. She wants everyone to know that we all have the ability to release our pain and heal ourselves.  Info: BrandyGillmore.com

Best of The Aware Show with Dr. Tom O’Bryan: Inflammatory Disease and Gut Health – Docuseries with 80 Experts – Part 2

Best of The Aware Show with Dr. Tom O’Bryan: Inflammatory Disease and Gut Health – Docuseries with 80 Experts – Part 2

Do you sometimes feel tired or even sick after eating? Did you know it could be because of inflammation? Lisa continues the conversation today with our guest Dr. Tom O’Bryan who is an expert in food sensitivities and the way they affect our lives.

Did you know that bodies can attack themselves when we are eating the wrong foods?  Dr. Tom has extensively researched inflammatory disease and the root mechanism behind disease. The Center for Disease Control reports that 14 out of the top 15 causes of disease are caused by chronic inflammation. He talks about how excessive inflammation is extremely dangerous and how wheat and dairy can be so unhealthy, along with lectins, soy, and corn.

Dr. O’Bryan and his colleagues have debuted a new docuseries called “The Inflammation Equation: Decoding the Path to Optimal Well Being.”  This series contains interviews and information from 80 experts and physicians worldwide. For info about Dr. Tom O’Bryan and to find out more about “The Inflammation Equation,” visit TheDr.com and https://rkt511.isrefer.com/go/tie24/theawareshow.

The most common source of inflammation is a result of the foods we eat. Lisa asks about the elimination diet and how soon we can begin to feel better. If your immune system is fighting a food, and you eliminate it, you will begin to feel better within 3 weeks.

Dr. Tom talks about how many people suffer from low-grade edema and discusses how your body holds onto water. He talks about gluten-free foods and how they are essentially just white paste. He talks about Celiac disease and how changing your diet must be done correctly.  The Mediterranean diet has been touted to be one of the healthiest. It includes water, as well as fruit and vegetables. He suggests eating at least 50 different fruits and vegetables a week, including root vegetables.

Himalayan buckwheat has been shown to be extremely beneficial for health. Spices and good fats, such as extra virgin olive oil, are also important. Finally, small portions of fish and poultry of good quality are important as well. This feeds your microbiome in a healthy way.

He also discusses the difference between European wheat  and American wheat. This is because of lectins in the wheat. You may not have gut symptoms if you eat wheat in Europe, but you are still activating the immune response. He further discusses his docuseries, “The Inflammation Equation: Decoding the Path to Optimal Well Being.”  This series contains interviews and information from 80 experts and physicians worldwide. This is Part 2 of the interview. For info about Dr Tom O’Bryan and to find out more about “The Inflammation Equation,” visit TheDr.com and  https://rkt511.isrefer.com/go/tie24/theawareshow.

Brandy Gillmore: Healing Through the Mind / Body Connection – Part 1

Brandy Gillmore: Healing Through the Mind / Body Connection – Part 1

Did you know it is possible to radically transform your life and live without pain? Would you like to better understand the connection between your mind and your body? Today’s guest Brandy Gillmore suffered from a debilitating accident which left her in constant pain and wheelchair-bound, without hope of recovery. During this interview, she will share her groundbreaking discoveries and the story of how she began searching for a cure by studying the mind/body connection.
After years of living in excruciating pain, Brandy decided to deeply begin researching the power of emotions. This led to a radical healing experience and the ability to help others remove pain in their body.
Her brand-new book is “Master Your Mind and Energy to Heal Your Body.” In the book, Brandy writes about her long healing journey where she tried everything to get better including traditional Western medicine, as well as complementary and alternative means. She also shares key factors that she learned after her injury.
Prior to her accident, she was a competitive athlete. First, she had a car accident, then a bad fall. After this, she was in a wheelchair, then used a cane, all while being in extreme pain. Many days she didn’t want to even breath because it hurt so much. This life-changing accident happened when she was in her early 20s. Before that, she finished high school early, so she went to college early. It was the boom of the dot com era, and she started working in the top telecommunications industry. Her career was so successful she bought a house at age 19. Then everything came to a sudden halt.
Eventually the doctors told her there was nothing more they could do. She had a neurological disorder as a result of the accident. She went to a leading research hospital where they wanted to observe her case.  Just as they were starting the formal study, the doctors told her that they did not expect her to get better, so she could no longer be part of the research.
During this time, she was in bed and in so much pain, she made a decision that she no longer wanted to live. A thought came into her mind saying, “What about the placebo”? She thought this could be about belief, so she deeply researched metaphysics and began chanting, as well as using positive affirmations. Finally, she realized none of this was working.
She came across the Open Label Placebo – this is where it works, even though it’s only a placebo. She started meditation and hypnosis. She got her pain to come down as she was meditating and accessing different mental states, including Theta waves.
This led her to examine why it wasn’t working. She used her engineering mind to get to the next level, as she was so driven to find answers. She researched how people with different personalities had different ailments that could be medically verified. She examined how this could possibly work.
She realized she couldn’t just think positive. She needed to see how the mind affects the physical body. For example, if you are embarrassed, your face turns red. She also started studying emotions. How do people die of a broken heart? Or how can some people be so afraid their hearts stop? Even auto-immune conditions can be caused by stress.
Brandy looked deeper at other emotions such as fear, depression, anger, resentment, betrayal, abandonment, and hurt and had a few key insights about how exactly the emotions affect the body.  Her skeptical, research mind continued to ask questions about PTSD and stress, while she realized it was a combination of emotions.
She determined that if you can pinpoint which emotions are affecting the physical body, you can then change the emotions. If someone is ill for a very long time, this can become part of their pattern and identity. Another ingredient is lack of love or lack of safety. Multiple things may affect the emotion and you can change the way they link together.  A lot of these patterns can be unconscious. You can choose a di

Best Of The Aware Show with Dr. Anodea Judith: Awakening the Global Heart

Best Of The Aware Show with Dr. Anodea Judith: Awakening the Global Heart

How many cycles of global warming have occurred over the lifetime of this planet? And where are we going from here? These are the kinds of questions asked in Dr. Anodea Judith’s book “Waking the Global Heart: Humanity’s Rite of Passage From Love of Power to the Power of Love.” This work is considered groundbreaking in the field of Transpersonal Psychology and used as definitive texts in the U.S. and abroad.
Today she discusses the history of the melting of the ice caps, the cycles of nature, and how humanity with carbon emissions, population growth, and so much more is affecting the planet. She states that we must evolve into a network which works together to begin to solve some of the global challenges. She talks about how more than 20% of the human population does not have access to clean drinking water. This is an environmental catastrophe. The United States could lead, but it would take a rite of passage. During this time, we are forced to look at terrorism and climate change. There are deaths, but we could look toward rebirth and more sustainable ways of living. As humans, we must graduate to another level. Civilizations are always rising and falling. This is a global world change. Every new moment has people who believe these ideas and concepts will not work. New ideas always get attacked and it may take decades for acceptance. We have an opportunity to move into an age of ethics, rather than an age of power.
She reminds us that the cutting-edge of culture never comes from the mainstream – it always comes from the fringe.
Anodea has been called “a prophet for our time.” A groundbreaking thought leader and best-selling author, she worked as a therapist in private practice for more than 20 years. Today she is the director of Sacred Centers, a teaching organization she founded that offers workshops worldwide.  Judith holds a doctoral degree in Psychology and Human Health, is a  yoga teacher, and  is considered the foremost Western writer on the subject of the chakra system. She also is a faculty member of the Shift Network. Info:  AnodeaJudith.com

Lisa continues the conversation today with expert astrologer Susan Miller who is an internationally known author, columnist, entrepreneur, publisher, and pioneer of the Internet.  She is the respected founder of  AstrologyZone.com.
The astrological year starts with Aries. The first half of the year is completely different from the second half.  May 25 is the demarcation line. Susan asks us to look at both our Sun Sign Chart, as well as our Rising Sign. She goes through each sign, step by step, and shares details of what’s in store.
May has so many beautiful aspects for everyone. May 17 and 18 are considered the luckiest days of the year, as Jupiter conjuncts the Sun.
Susan lists important days in her calendar and reminds us that the universe cannot give us things if we don’t know what we want. It is a great time to set intentions. Everything in astrology is about timing. Travel agencies will do well and logistics companies, too. All communications will do well. Jupiter and Pluto will be magical.
April 20 will be a very lucky day when Jupiter conjuncts Uranus. This is a very rare conjunction and can bring hope, happiness, and joyous breakthroughs. It’s a great day for every sign. Susan asks us to consider donating for a charity raffle ticket as it’s a time for winning. It’s time to take action.
She shares which signs will travel, which signs will get their dream job, and which signs will find love. She also talks about expenses and who will be the “money magnets” with bonuses, refunds, commissions, and more.
Susan discusses her detailed monthly horoscopes, as well as her apps. She mentions Taylor Swift and how it’s her time globally! Susan analyzed her chart for the Washington Post and describes how so many of her planets are in money houses. Beyonce also has money in her astrology chart. It shows that energy goes into making money as well as how she uses it to help others.
Even with upcoming Mercury Retrogrades this year, as well as Mars Retrograde in December into 2025, overall, 2024 has very positive aspects!
Susan’s website is considered an authority in the field of Western astrology and is read avidly by 13 million unique readers a year. She is a highly respected astrological “thinker” and is recognized worldwide for her astrological writings into areas of business, technology, lifestyle, culture, and the economy.
