General Review - Betamax Video Club
Betamax video club provides an opportunity to rediscover and reminisce about specific movies from the 80’s era. Yes, there were serious issues happening around the world during that time such as, "The Hand of God", however there were also periods of such simplistic crazes, like BMX’ing, Frogger & Breakdancing! I remember spending hours in my local video rental shop trying to make a decision, whilst wondering if the assistant would realise I wasn’t old enough to rent out a Chuck Norris movie! Combined with Rich’s calming voice (except when reviewing Cocktail), the podcast leaves you with a hungering for more, as it mixes dry humour with wit, along with a sense of innocence that allows your mind to wonder off & recollect about those days gone by, & what you were up to when that movie was released -Thanks Rich, the Barry Norman of the future.Read full review »

Great insight and a real trip through the memory lane of my youth (Cannonball Run, Ferris Bueller, Weird Science and the like)....Read full review »
