Some good take-aways
I listened to the podcast on missionaries and there were some good take-aways such as love, compassion, and validation when your missionary calls home crying. Also asking your missionary questions rather than trying to solve their problems is also a great suggestion. The parts of the podcast that didn’t resonate with me were the comments about dismissing and giggling about Satan’s attacks. Similar to the attack Joseph Smith had before the first vision, it’s real. These young adults are sharing the message of Christ with the world and Satan is going to put real force to try and stop it. The hope to be shared with them is that yes we can feel overwhelmed and bombarded but Christ is stronger and to teach our kids to rely on Him and trust in Him.
