An absolute go-to
I have been following David Naimon’s podcasts for years and there are many episodes that I have saved and return to from time to time because they both inspire, and inform, my writing. I have not found another podcast in which an interviewer engages so intelligently and sincerely with the practise of so many writers. Honestly, my own practise would not be the same without this podcast and, going by comments made by the interviewees who express their appreciation for David’s questions, I’m sure I’m not alone in this. This kind of attention and dedication is so needed in a world that so often feels like the slippery slope of trying to hold on to a little of the detail of what moves, challenges, and forms us, as we read closely, and converse.

The content of these author interviews is fabulous. I think I'm getting as much out of these interviews as I would have gotten out of an MFA program (also a lot cheaper).Read full review »

Great podcast but Naimon pronounces everything as if it was a question? I don't understand why he does that? Please get it under control, it drives me up the wall?Read full review »
