The Intersections Between Production and Rep. Work (with Marci Selsberg)
Listen now
Description
Production is, in many ways, still a very broad career without common paths to follow through. For better or worse, professionals generally fall into production after some time working in areas that require some of the same skills production does, or even fall out of production into other related careers. Why not take advantage of the intersections and differences amongst those professions in order to leverage producers' practices? We are officially starting our second season! In our very first episode of this season, Ruby talks to Marci Selsberg, an artist representative with +30 years of career in the creative industry. Starting, as many of us, outside of production, Marci shares what she learned in her producer years and how those led her to become a creative rep. We talk through interchangeable skills and experiences that are important in both careers and the major take aways she had through those career shifts. If you want to learn more about Marci's work, just check BLAH! blah? (Blah…) website. _________ Beyond Deadlines: A Creative Producer's Chat is powered by MOWE Studio. Edited by: Bruno Nappo
