WTOP Entertainment Editor Jason Fraley celebrate National DJ Day with hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash, who pioneered the genre with his 1982 hit "The Message" and later became the first hip-hop artist inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They spoke in 2020 when he played the now-defunct U Street Music Hall in Washington D.C.
