Bhutanese Talk Sagar Dangal

In this episode Host Sha talks with Cade Wilson, who is running for House of Representatives for state of Michigan from 72nd district. Host and the guests talked in various topics such as  election 2020, his campaign, covid-19 and its effect in the campaign, education, equal opportunity, planned parenthood, his inspiration to run for the office, etc. A fun political talk.

Host Sagar Dangal sits down with sisters Muna and Tulasha Khatiwoda who came to America from Nepal in 2009.  They have since become very popular among Bhutanese and Nepali communities through their use of the social media app Tik Tok.  They discuss the positive and negative reactions they've received with their new found fame, and how it has affected them as teenagers adjusting to their new lives in America.  The sisters also open up about their struggling school life in the beginning when they were new in the U.S.

Host Sagar Dangal is joined by Fred Stella, a 30 veteran of Grand Rapids TV and radio, who is also an ordained Pracharak as well as the current President of the Interfaith Dialogue Association.  Fred shares with us the inspirational journey which took him from his early days in parochial school to a place of prominence in the local Hindu community.  Fred and Sagar also discuss the devastating effects the caste system still has on the Hindu community.  

Episode 5 is al about the upcoming census as host Sagar Dangal is joined by Kathi Harris, the census coordinator of Grand Rapids.  They talk about the upcoming census and how important it is that the Bhutanese community participate.  Kathi also offers information on how you can get work as a census taker.

In this episode host Sagar Dangal welcomes Dr. Laxmi Nepal.  The two have an open discussion about some of the rituals and practices in the Hindu religion which are being questioned by younger generations.

In this episode, host Sagar Dangal welcomes Bhutan natives Beda Nidi Dahal, Tulashi Ram Baral and Goma Baral.  All three elders were born and raised in Bhutan and share first hand stories of growing up with lifestyle and cultural practices which would be deemed unlawful and unconstitutional in today's world.
