Sometimes it’s good
I really enjoyed her series on Chris Watts. It was one of the best I’ve listened to and I highly recommend. However, the more I listen to other episodes, the more annoyed I am with her way of speaking. I don’t mind the sarcasm most of the time, but it’s the same phrases over and over. And she speaks more like a news anchor. It would be better imo if she spoke like she’s just talking to a friend. I am also one who is annoyed with the long commercials on a very short show, but I understand she needs to make money soI just fast forward. Also, The latest series really didn’t need to be 7 episodes.I thought it would have more about the investigation but so far there has been very little. I’m just going to read about it and skip the 7th episode.

More reviews of Big Mad True Crime
I love everything about this podcast. Heather disclosed details I never knew, and I have been following this case since day one. I love how she jumps right into the story and doesn’t chit chat about random things. Now I just have to wait for the next episode!

If you want to listen to someone read directly from a script (with unnecessary and super annoying comments throughout), this is the podcast for you. I’ve honestly never heard anyone read directly from a script before.

I’ve never been able to get into podcasts until this one. It is funny and well researched and just plain fun and riveting. Biggest kudos is that my true crime hating husband loved it and was sucked in and laughing out loud. That has never happened!
