“I’m typically a huge fan of this writing, narration, and production team, but this series falls short. The writing is disjointed and the narration often makes the storyline more convoluted than it needs to be. I’ve had to go back and relisten to sections multiple times out of concern I spaced out and missed critical details. Every time I do so, I realize it wasn’t me at all. The writing is just weak and the storyline jumps with no warning or explanation.
I’m still a big fan of the narrators so I pushed through to the end. However, I found this production to be the weakest show Wondery has produced.”
