“I appreciate you coming out with new podcasts ever week! I stack them up sometimes and when I go on a roadtrip, I always put them on to keep myself occupied. But keep them coming, I love the way you explain all these cases and tell their stories!”

“Payton is one of the best story tellers out there. So factual and empathetic. She brings the story with kindness & heart and you can feel the emotion & heartache through her story. You’re amazing Payton, and your growth, openness & truths have been inspiring and admirable. Thank you...”Read full review »

“These stories sound like self published fiction hastily read by someone who is just sounding out words rather than grasping their meaning. Poorly researched, poorly executed, and poorly edited.”

“No exaggeration, sometimes knowing I have an 'Into the Dark' episode to listen to gets me out of bed on Wednesday's. I love the diversity of the content, the vibe of the show, and Peyton's storytelling! One of my top 5 favorite podcasts (along with MWMH, of course) of all time!! :)”Read full review »

“I absolutely love MWMH, been listening since 2020, I’m a paying subscriber but into the dark just isn’t my cup of tea, I loved binged and when the podcast switched I thought it would be the same but it’s not. Payton is great however I’ll just stick to MWMH.”

“I quite like this podcast, it’s good to listen too in the background, however, the hosts “10 seconds” before she gets into the episode, CAN LAST UP TO 5 minutes !!!
That part I don’t like and skip it every time because it’s way too long and Payton just rambles.
I know we all have stuff to deal...”Read full review »

“For all I know this was addressed in the later episodes. I am starting from the beginning. My only complaint is the full on ad that sounds the same as the story she is telling. “The host talks soooo slowly that I had to listen at 1.5x for it to be a normal talking pace (-1 star).
There’s 3 minutes of ads at the beginning, twice in the middle, then again at the end. It’s annoying because usually ads are no more than 60-90 seconds. (-1 star)
She started off the podcast...”Read full review »

“I like Payton and actually like into the dark better than MWMH, not because Garrett isn’t in here, I like him too, but because it’s stories that haven’t been covered that much on other podcasts.
