I started listening to this podcast after finding a specific episode. I love the way she is open about her struggles with mental health and how doing the podcast helps with that. I have my own struggles as well, and listening to podcasts is how I get through it. I’m a forever a listener!

I have been listening to MWMH a while ago with my friend. I found this one and have listened to 10 episodes in two days! I love that it spans so many topics.

I just recently started back to working after having a baby and the job I have is quite boring to say the least. Music gets boring to listen to after a while so I thought maybe listen to a podcast and had this one in my library just never got to it. When I tell you this made my work day go so...Read full review »

Entertaining but not a trusted source for people who know true crime. Everybody makes mistakes but these are basic wiki errors like getting a murder victim’s name wrong, the perpetrator’s name wrong and incorrect cause of death. They’re covering the greatest hits of true crime with no original...Read full review »

I like Payton and actually like into the dark better than MWMH, not because Garrett isn’t in here, I like him too, but because it’s stories that haven’t been covered that much on other podcasts. BUT, while there are a lot of mispronunciations, the worst part is the research and sounding naive....Read full review »

Amazing storytelling!! On the edge of my seat listening to the two episodes on the Twilight Zone movie deaths, a story I already knew! Seriously, the writing is totally immersive and fluid.

Her idiot self said “Charles Manson when he was killed via the death penalty” FOOL! Charles Manson died from colon cancer he wasn’t “liked via the death penalty” whatever that means. And no one has Charles Manson’s bones, you liar. A simple google search would make you sound smarter.

Here from MWMH, and Binged days, it something about how Payton tell the information and how respectful it being done to give information but also consider it’s real life and how it may affect others, I love it here and look forward to hearing every week.

Peyton tells a lot of great stories but it’s hard to fully enjoy when we’re interrupt at least twice an episode with extremely LONG ads. I understand why there are ads and I want to support Peyton but they are just SO LONG.

Charles Manson didn’t die via the death penalty. He died of natural causes! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

I used to listen to mwmh to go to sleep at night, I’d listen to the episode and then listen to it again at night to help me fall asleep. But I had to quit that when I started getting scared trying to fall asleep😂. Payton is so good at storytelling, I am always so invested in every episode. I...Read full review »

I’m a huge huge fan of MWMH but I really like this podcast just cause it’s so raw. Payton is not scared to just be human and you can tell she pours her heart into this podcast. I highly recommend this podcast and love the content.

Update 8/28/2024: is this show binged or into the dark? Did they just change their name midstream? Original: The word “respite“ is not pronounced re-spite but rather res-pit. Edit: she’s a lot like her mom with her inability to properly pronounce words. Ex: mountain is not mount-in, as is...Read full review »

Love where Payton has taken this podcast. This and MWMH are my favorite podcasts to listen to because I love how the stories are told and there’s minimal interruptions for irrelevant side conversations that double the length of the podcast (what can I say, I love when we get to the point).
