They performed well against a good team which boasted a good starting corps. Surprising performances from the bench and high leverage bullpen success. This team is hella fun. Second Base: On to New York This is a very important series in May. Weird, right? The Yankees are always going to be the villain in the Orioles story – regardless of how good or bad either may be. These games represent an important component of the head-to-head record (for playoff seeding), and may feature some of that patented Yankee Devil Magic. A win in NY would be huge for the Orioles. Third Base: Adleyversary It’s been a year since Adley Rutschman made his Major League debut. And just so no one is confused: he has ben excellent.
