This era of “hog mollies” at OL where we cut Kevin Zeitler who went on a tear for the Ravens and traded away BJ Hill and draft capital for 3rd string IOL to fill in injury gaps while our developmental tackle Peart was benched for a no longer NFL capable Nate Solder. Saquon is just the first casualty of DG and paid with his prime years in the NFL. Eli’s waning talents were behind Ereck Flowers and Bobby Hart before that.
We had the Ernie Accorsi OL and then the Reese and Gettleman era where it wasn’t replenished. DG hit on one guy, Andrew Thomas. When I think about the future as an NYG fan with the OL disappointment of this last period, AT is the face of the future to most fans. If you wanted to expand, Xavier McKinney is another stud on our defense who we expect will elevate in Wink’s scheme. All love guys, good luck to your podcast(even if not to your team). 👍🏼”
