“Wow what an emotional listen. I was in the gym holding back the tears. What an amazing lady Alex is. From a 45 year old woman who’s parents split up when I was 9… I CANNOT describe the love I have for my stepparents. My stepdad and also my step mum dont have kids of their own but I know they see me as their own. It’s only now I’m older with my own kids do I fully appreciate what they have done for me and the positive impact they have had on my life and I’ll be eternally grateful to both of them. If I could turn back the clock and change my parents getting divorced and splitting up I wouldn’t! I’m so happy they’re in my life. Kate and Alex you wont realise what a profound affect you have on your stepchildren, even if they don’t realise it now, they will. I love your podcast kate, you’re so in touch with your guests feelings and are so real. Alex I wish you all the happiness in your future and keep being an amazing stepmum to your boys xxxx”
