Liverpool defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have returned from injury as the Reds lost 4-3 to Hertha Berlin in their latest pre-season friendly. Paul Gorst joins Guy Clarke for reaction to the Reds latest outing. Jurgen Klopp named three separate centre-back partnerships with Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips all also featuring. The Reds fell 2-0 behind before Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino levelled before half-time before Stefan Jovetic’s second half brace helped the German side to the win, despite a late consolation from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
