“The research that went into this is outstanding. It really transports you back to the outlandish media sphere that was post 9/11 America. I wasn’t politically conscious then, I was only 3 when the war began, and as such the world that was built after the war on terror is all I’ve ever known. I never got to see how awful the roll out was, and im honestly filled with rage at the end of most episodes at the fact that everybody just forgot about it all. I hope this podcast helps people remember.
On another note, PLEASE STOP CUTTING IN RANDOM MOVIE CLIPS! Your episodes have great editing and you guys have a very interesting rapport and delivery style, it’s really engaging. But all that is undercut by those random movie clips you insist on putting in every once in a while. A few are alright, but most of them are just jarring. Make the reference and move on bruh.”
