“Trust the U.S.S.R “
I am not so blind to believe the US gov is capable of lying and while I enjoyed season 2 and love hearing different perspectives and being forced to ask questions about what I was told about history in school, news, etc… I found it a continued annoyance that the hosts questioned everything the U.S. government and its officials said or did, assuming nefarious intent, but time and time again took the Soviet Union or Castro and the Cubans at face value. Come on, I don’t have a problem with being critical of the US foreign policy but apply those same rules to the soviets and Cubans. This was otherwise an enjoyable podcast that made me think about what I believed about Cuba and the Cold War. Worth a listen, just remember the info is definitely biased against the US and take from it what you will.

Up there with Hardcore History. As a 34 year old who remembers 9/11 as I was sitting in English class, I really wish we had this podcast then to change our future outcome. This makes my blood boil. I thought it was unjust war then, and even more so now. Keep up the great work.
