Left Uneasy
I really loved the first season of this podcast, but I started with Not Tested On Humans I’m season two and felt gutted. The story is about a former member of the LDS church who has gone through horrifying experience both within the church & outside of the church. I do appreciate that her experience has been horrendous and her opinions and feelings are valid, but I have a problem with the way it is presented. Regardless of facts, I feel like the host, who I greatly admired in the previous season, did not ask share any alternative view. Especially when it comes to a religion. Just assuming the point of view of the interviewee is correct and running with it is not quality journalism. It was isolating to the audience that is religious and honestly ruined listening for me. I do think that this is a great podcast, and I hope the host can take note of her mistakes and improve going forward.

This podcast opened my ears, eyes, and thoughts to the things about my body I overlooked and what I still have to learn more about. I deeply connected with the narrative of this podcast and look forward to listening to more important stories about women's bodies.Read full review »
