Lacking in substance
Somehow the podcast is both condescending and completely lacking in substance. I’ve listened to this show because I love to cook, but there is very little depth and few unique suggestions for cooking. Instead, the hosts share their very New York- centric opinions about food, or claim to be experts when they often know very little about a topic. The emphasis on trends and holier than thou voice are not what millennial audiences are looking for. Also in one of the latest episodes Adam had an opportunity to admit to failing to showcase enough diversity in the show and the magazine and instead blamed it on a pipeline issue - not enough rising black young chefs. This would have been a great opportunity to admit to being a part of the problem and committing to doing better.

I've recently become hooked on the BA food cast. The stories are pertinent and interesting, the host (Adam) is a great speaker/interviewer, and the overall feel of the podcast is just so light and fresh - totally love it!Read full review »

Adam Rapoport is a fantastic host with a great voice. I don't know if I like the famous chef guest or thematic food episodes better... So great.Read full review »

Super entertaining and insightful. Unlike other reviewers, I enjoy Adam as host. No matter the topic, I usually find the discussion interesting even if it is not a subject I would think would be of interest. The podcast is so much more accessible than the overly busy magazine.
