Great podcast for learning about new books
I’ve been won over by this podcast. Lucas Cantor has an interesting perspective. He is principally a musician, which makes him a somewhat unexpected voice for a literary podcast, yet it’s clear he seizes the opportunity to deepen his own understanding of literature and genre through the conversations he facilitates, and the interdisciplinary exchange actually results in particularly insightful discussions. I especially enjoy his candor with guests: he’s a good listener, and brings a lot of respect and enthusiasm to the exchanges. There’s more and more diversity and prestige in the guests, and the format is snappy, polished and engaging. Listening leaves a lasting sensation of wonder, and an eagerness to read along new lines. So healthy! Listen up, book lovers.
