“Really enjoyed this podcast. I grew up in a South Texas oilfield family. The lifestyle is very much the same....boom or bust. My Dad was the third generation to work the rigs. I grew up hearing the stories of what it was like when he started working the rigs with his Dad when he was 15 years old down in Corpus. The oilfield ended up crippling him up by the time he was 50 but he still loved it and continued to tell his stories about it until his death at 69. I still love to see the lights on the rigs at night.”
