Fred and Tom have intelligent insights into the Ali Act, basics of boxing contract law, and programming decisions. Good discussion of boxer’s past recent fights that they reference well when giving previews of upcoming cards.

I first stumbled on these guys when I found out that Ruiz Joshua 2 was heading to Saudi. The boxing media at large just seemed to skate over the significance of this and the fact that, for me, it seemed like this was the death knell for DAZN. I found these guys and they gave a very in depth...Read full review »

Like their focus on boxing politics despite a bit of bias towards PBC. Great at keeping your hopes in check when it comes to cross promotional fights!

Fred is such a salty old man, you can tell the others don’t value what he says at all. Clown.

Best boxing podcast out there. Great dynamic no matter who is on the episode
cashew1130 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/05/20
What a load of garbage Fred chats. Gives one of the great performances by a British heavyweight zero credit for his win over Wilder. Blames it on a “fat white guy cheating”. What a load of race-baiting, disrespectful nonsense. Wilder got beaten from pillar to post by the better man, get over it....Read full review »

This is no doubt the best boxing podcast, not because of their analysis, although great, but are unafraid to argue, belittle each other for bad points while not taking it personally and in great stride. Hidden gem. I don’t understand how anyone can give less than 5 stars.
Someofus via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/03/20
Always a great listen but 24th Feb episode too full of Fred ranting over and over and over again. Very repetitious and became a bit tiring. Sounded like he’d been to the bar for a few hours before the podcast! Well done to Angelo and Tom for high quality input and putting up with Fred!
philmullen via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/24/20
Great show but that Fred guy is super unprofessional and sinks the entire show with his stubbornness and potty mouth. Host couldn’t even get through the intro with out him interrupting.

If you like listening to a bunch of guys who like to complain about Reddit and don’t particularly like anything about boxing except the PBC and Canelo, this podcast is for you.

1st time listening, 5 mins in this Tom guy is dropping racist nukes, and mumbling in low Chris Mannix style speaking of going lower and lower w/ his voice until you can’t make out a single word. “Don’t think the Canelo fan base is savvy enough to download an app”... Then Canadian accent guy...Read full review »

What a bunch of hacks. You would think after the number of shows these guys have done there would be some level of improvement. Sounds like a bunch of children recording themselves on a Walmart karaoke set.

Sunday Puncher used to be a great podcast but has fallen off the rails in recent times. All the good guests no longer appear and we’re left with Tom who answers a yes/no question with a pointless 15 minute monologue and whiny Fred who seems more interested in complaining about writers and twitter...Read full review »

All they do is complain for 2 hours long. Act like they know everything about everything. If you hate boxing so much stop watching. Boo-hoo crybaby garbage. Especially Fred someone please take this guys microphone. Listened to 1 show and couldn’t make it past 15 Minutes. TRASH.

Better boxing pods out there, I don’t think the hosts are as adept at understanding the sport as they think they are and have extreme biases that distract from the commentary.

Really enjoy listening to the cast go back and forth and they do a really good job covering all aspects of pro boxing. The one dude can be a bit insensitive I found with his comments of Maxim, the boxer the passed away recently , but overall I do enjoy listening .

What a wonderful, analytical poscast ruined by the relentless negativity of the Canadian chap, and the host’s indulgence therewithin!

These guys are disrespectful to boxers and boxing. To hear them talk I wonder if they even like the sport. I really tried to give them a chance but I just could take it anymore and had to unsubscribe. Don’t waste your time.

I really enjoy Angelo analysis’ and they don’t let the opinions of other boxing analysts to skew their view (I feel). And am I the only one that absolutely loves Tom’s over-analysis and Angelo’s inside jokes??
AndoyBokchoy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/17/19
Good fight breakdowns and entertaining banter but the takes are predictable. All the hosts are like-minded in their support of PBC. I don’t have a promotion preference, but you’ll start to know what’s coming after a couple episodes... Angelo is at least funny about it, but Tom is unbearable.

Had to comment on last show. I agree that Canelo deserves higher cut. But Canelo cost GGG a $20 million pay day. If you don’t think that deserves more than 5 points on the rematch then you are delusional. Try that in ANY other business and you’d be laughed out of the board room.
