“My order of boxing podcasts is "5 Live Boxing" first for the interviews and headlines, then "Sunday Puncher" for what people like me think! SP talks in-depth about everything as if you have access to an internet connection and already follow the sport, which I REALLY appreciate. And yet it's still very approachable & surprisingly well-produced. No constant adjustments to my volume knob in the car, and no EQ needed like some other niche podcasts. It sounds like a REAL radio talk show without the radio posturing.
My only critique, if you can even call it that, is that they seem to love making pro-wrestling references. I can't stand pro wrestling, so I cringe a bit when they're introduced. But besides that, if you want to hear a spirited debate about anything in boxing this is the go-to. They're hilarious, and I always walk away with an idea or two I didn't have before.”Read full review »
