“60 years of technological advancements have allowed government funded shadowy organizations to continue programs such as this using the same techniques. Remote neural monitoring, directed energy weapons, voice to skull Technology, Or V2K allow these people to use techniques, Such a Psychic...”Read full review »

“I keep this one permanently downloaded on my device like some kind of disturbing security blanket for when other podcasts fail. The effort here to go to original sources and incorporate texture from period audio clips really shows dedication and polish.”
“Great storytelling, and the content is well organized and easy to follow.
The background music, especially the repetitive guitar riffs, can be a little distracting.
Otherwise a good podcast”

“I do wonder about some people who seem to have a vendetta against the CBC. I see their comments all the time on CBC news articles.
In one 1 star review, the podcast is criticized for being an American story from a Canadian news agency. Clearly that reviewer didn’t even listen to the content...”Read full review »
“As I listened, it reminded me of my own personal experience that confirms some of the things they talk about in this podcast. My father, who was a counter espionage agent in the late 40s and early 50s, had been given drugs to accompany other techniques in an attempts to make him forget secrets he...”Read full review »

“Très bon podcast, je ne savais rien de ces expériences et j’ai été bouleversée par les témoignages des victimes et de leurs familles. What wouldn’t humans do for power…”
“I was not expecting this podcast to be so addictive! I ended up binge listening while I cleaned my house all on one day. I’m in my mid 30s so I actually thought that MKULTRA was an urban legend. The stories I had heard before listening to this podcast sounded too outlandish to be real. ...”Read full review »

“So far, so good…
Nice to finally come across a decent dive into this fascinating subject. My dad worked as an assistant at the local state hospital when I was too young to understand …he’s gone now, and I never got a chance to talk to him about it. He kept his ID badge all along, we found it...”Read full review »

“I like the pace. Research is ok. If you already know the general story of MK Ultra in Montreal, nothing really new but still you will get details plus personal experiences from family members of the former patient/guinea pig. Side note: how come someone who listen to CBC and lives in Canada...”Read full review »

“I really wanted to love this. I did learn some interesting facts, but I feel the format of this lends itself to something a little more shallow than I was hoping for. I was looking for something with hardcore depth and research, and the episodes didn’t quite take me there. I’m glad this exists,...”Read full review »
“Does this podcaster seriously think we should feel sorry for how people who planned the murder of thousands of Americans were treated? It’s the real world welcome to it smh and psh. Then you compare American soldiers to Nazi scientist experiments. Learn the difference between terrorist and...”Read full review »

“Not sure what on earth other comments downgrading this podcast are about, suggesting it’s not a Canadian story, they obviously didn’t listen. I heard about sleep rooms back in the 80s, and was always stunned more information wasn’t available on these horrific experiments. Montreal has quite the...”Read full review »
“There are a lot of moving parts that get confusing. I find myself drifting off a lot and not totally engaged because there is constant changes. Also, doesn’t explain a lot for people that don’t know exactly what therapies are what.”

“And forget the uninformed who say this is about the USA. Of the other who say the CBC is a brainwashing machine. Geez people. Anyway great storytelling, great narrative, sad episode of our history.
Oh, and I don’t think the producers control the volume of the ads. I listened with ear buds and...”Read full review »
“My aunt was a Nurse, and eventually a patient at this hospital and of this doctor. Tremendously sad story. This podcast is thorough. Great job so far.”
“I hate ... HATE, when producers make the adds louder than the show, it literarily hurts when wearing eat buds. If it happens again I will unsubscribe in a second. The show is decent so I hope it doesn’t.”

“So, I came across this and wanted to see the apparent 9 ratings that equalled 5 starts (LOL) guess what, I cant access them. My 6th sense tells me that listening to a podcast about brainwashing by Canada’s largest brainwashing, politically biased, and crooked content producer is probably not the...”Read full review »
“I have been obsessed with MKULTRA since i started attending mcgill university and absolutely love this podcast so far. it gives a nuanced account of the experiments and their human impact. creepy to listen and be able to look out my window and see the allen institute though!”
“I really don’t understand why a premier Canadian news organization is making a podcast about the history of the United States. Maybe focus on stories at home instead of reaching down south.”

Although, i‘m a bit sad for the small mistake, our queen is named JuliA shaw, not Julie Shaw.”
