“I really wanted to love this. I did learn some interesting facts, but I feel the format of this lends itself to something a little more shallow than I was hoping for. I was looking for something with hardcore depth and research, and the episodes didn’t quite take me there. I’m glad this exists, and I’d recommend you try an episode or two as it may be something you’ve never heard about.”

“I keep this one permanently downloaded on my device like some kind of disturbing security blanket for when other podcasts fail. The effort here to go to original sources and incorporate texture from period audio clips really shows dedication and polish.”
