vickkkieee_ ,

Thank you !

I’ve been struggling with BPD for years. Growing up in a foreign culture where mental illness is seen as somebody going crazy or mad. For years, I thought I was cursed and crazy. And I refuse to get help or a knowledge my mental diagnosis. After those years of trying to act when all reality I was struggling. I finally went to a psychiatrist and got diagnosed with Quiet BPD. And even after my diagnosis, I felt cursed and I was ashamed of it. It’s been a struggle loving myself, especially after my diagnosis. I’m thankful for podcasts like this and that bring awareness to BPD. And discuss it in a positive light. This podcast is very informative. Especially for those who have BPD as well as BPD loved ones. Period I learned a lot about my phone just this podcast. Again, thank you.

joandietitian ,

Valuable for newly diagnosed

I was misdiagnosed/mistreated/health destroyed by multiple meds for 3 decades. I finally am getting appropriate care. But I contend w 4 diseases caused by medications - for life. This is all on top of severe childhood and marital abuse. I finally feel heard and am recovering. I read a lot.

This podcast would be very good for young/uneducated/non-medically trained people, I believe. I listened to episodes on 11/4x speed. That helped me stay engaged. She is describing her experiences mostly, NOT a health practitioner, just a person w opinions and experiences. A nice contrast to dry medical books.

I feel seen.

I was recently diagnosed with BPD and began to search for some resources to help me on my journey..stumbled upon Kristin’s podcast and I immediately felt seen. Less alone. It has played a part in helping me keep faith that I can get better. Kristin is a great speaker and I’m grateful for her sharing her experience and wisdom on this platform.
