It’s a good listen but some of the forced scripted “jokes” make it cringe , but I suppose it is for middle class audiences so they need help with humour

But Mr. Clarke could fill US audiences in on Scotland leaving. Cheers and Slainte, M.R., Ph.D., M.F.A., (Chicago) p.s. As I've studied in the Gaeltachts speak Irish & I'd love on air to hear the highlanders speak Scots Gaelic.Read full review »

Great show, fantastically funny. Make you laugh out loud guests, all pulled together by the hilarious and witty Des Clarke. Love this show.

Des is a perfect host. He knows he is a good performer and salts the show with his own humour but he keeps the balance just right with input from his guests. As an accountant I do like balance…

I have enjoyed this podcast for many years - even putting up with the ridiculous pro Scottish claptrap - some of it funny! England getting to the final has taken the xenophobia to a whole different level, to the point of claiming players and referees are cheats!? Enough!!! Goodbye!

I look forward to each new episode. One of my all time favourites. I live in Australia, and enjoy the panels take on the news- both local, national and international. Also helps that it is hilarious

I love this podcast. The hosts work well as a team bouncing off each other. It’s really funny and clever and I love that they have an even balance of male and female comedians.

You know those Friday news quiz shows where the panellists are so important; more than the jokes? Well, this isn't! This is just so funny and topical. Glad that I found it!Read full review »

Every episode has me in tears with laughter at some point. Great diversity of guests, even has English on it! Clever format. Would love to see on TV, also a longer unedited podcast version please! What a legend Raymond is too!

Breaking the news is an excellent show. I'm very glad it's now available as a podcast. It's always very funny but also quite informative! Definitely the best way of catching up with the news, especially when the news itself is depressing!Read full review »
