Brewers Talk Tyler Koerth

In a series where the Brewers put up 28 runs over three games, Rowdy Tellez and Lorenzo Cain lead the way to the sweep of the Pirates.  There was not a single close game in this series.  However, Freddy Peralta did make MLB history in this one by surpassing a mark set by Nolan Ryan!

Tyler is joined by Francisco Castro of Walkin Off Podcast and Bernie Pleskoff to discuss the Eduardo Escobar trade to the Milwaukee Brewers.  All indications point toward this is a great trade for the Brewers and that they are getting a great player.  We also discuss the fact that they likely are not done adding to their team and discuss potential pitching options still available.

For whatever reason the Brewers cannot beat the Royals in 2021 as they lose all 4 games against them this year.  The offense remained quiet, starting pitching was decent, but most of the talk in this episode revolved around the bullpen.  Brent Suter's walk issues were discussed, Hunter Strickland gave up his first earned runs as a Brewers, but Jake Cousins was lights out again! All of that plus a preview of the upcoming White Sox series!

After a brief hiatus, the Brewers are back and so are we!  In the first post all star beak series the Brewers swept the Reds!  Willy Adames continues to impress to the point of MVP talks.  Devin Williams got sent to the IL which leaves the door open for others in the 8th inning role.  All that discussed plus more!
