shockingly poor for the BBC
This podcast is the embodiment of the laughable hypocrisy of the BBC’s alleged ‘impartiality’ stance. Newscast (formerly Brexitcast) has never been truly impartial or unbiased, but there’s now blatant contempt for the new UK Labour Govt, and an increasingly similar attitude towards Biden/Harris in the US. There’s little proper journalism or quality discussion, and frequent unpleasant, clickbait-y personal comments, esp from Kuenssberg and O’Connell. Recent attempts at ‘balance’ over issues such as racism, misogyny, etc, have been woeful, with the coverage of the recent extreme Right-fuelled UK riots

Great insight into the election and now the ensuing events. Peels back that extra layer that you don't get from the television news. Hope it continues for as long as possible. Well done Chris, Norman, Vicki, John and all other contributors.Read full review »

Upside - a good weekly summary of where things stand with Brexit and very good in-depth analysis of specific issues. Downside - somewhat Brussels-centric and biased towards the EU point of view. But overall worth a listen.
