Great Train Robbery
I have loved this podcast in the past but I can’t believe the romanticisation of this tale. The real British Scandal here is how two privileged podcasters conveniently overlook the savage beating of the train engineer during the robbery. He was a working man who loved his family too, but his career was cut short by brain damage he never recovered from. For me, the train robbers were nothing short of thugs who deserved to be in prison. No romanticising of the story or any attempt to see the robbers as heroes will change that. Use your talent and humour for something of real social value.

The content so far is very intriguing but I must say that the highlight for me are the hosts. Their banter and humour have me smiling and laughing as I’m walking down the street. These are two folks I’d love to have a pint and a pub quiz with 😊. Espionage and entertainment, what more do you need?

What’s with the inane banter? I don’t mind some joking but ffs this is a serious topic. I don’t really need to hear how tacky Russians are or if the hosts would be able to sneak poison through an airport. Wtf?

Lots of good background info into case but also dont like the jokes mixed into the serious story.
