“I have loved this podcast in the past but I can’t believe the romanticisation of this tale. The real British Scandal here is how two privileged podcasters conveniently overlook the savage beating of the train engineer during the robbery. He was a working man who loved his family too, but his career was cut short by brain damage he never recovered from. For me, the train robbers were nothing short of thugs who deserved to be in prison. No romanticising of the story or any attempt to see the robbers as heroes will change that. Use your talent and humour for something of real social value.”
