Ben Robson has teamed up with Mike Leng from Unorthodox Nutrition to bring you Unorthodox Performance. In this podcast, we talk about his new company and how it all started. He is currently studying his Masters in biomechanics after completing his degree in sports and exercise science. With Mike as a business partner and mentor, the knowledge he has gained through his formal education alongside his own training and endless reading sets him apart from your average nutrition and strength & conditioning programmer. A purple belt in Brazilain Jiu Jitsu training and teaching at CF24 in Cardiff and part of the Whisky Wolf Mat Pack he is an active competitor on the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seen and has competed in numerous submission only events including one of the original UK based events TUFF Invitational. After making the UK squad he has travelled the world competing in IMMAF events in Bulgaria Singapore where he was lucky enough to train with Craig Jones. After making the switch to a vegan diet over a year ago he has been able to continue his training as normal and see some additional health benefits. So he is now running seminars to help give people the information they need to be able to make the switch to a herbivore diet. So check out his social media for more info on how to get involved in one of his seminars. http://www.unorthodoxperformance.co.uk https://www.mercht.com/c/wired
