Overall it was well done
I almost stopped listening after the first few minutes of the first episode. At one point the podcasters use the term “relatable” to describe this horrific act of violence toward children. It is absolutely not relatable. That’s a poor choice of words. In the end, the podcast brought to light some deeper issues that ought to be explored further as a society and I commend it for that. Another thing though that should be cleared up: organic food has the same caloric value as food that is not organic. The clip of the guy dismissing why he didn’t call the police stating he thought the kids were skinny because they ate an organic diet, drove me nuts. Pesticides do not = calories, so why on earth would an organic diet cause a child to be skinny??? I know this is nitpicky, but it made me crazy, so I had to share.
