Well executed, but questionable journalism
I understand why this podcast will be/already is really popular. It’s a riveting story and it’s conveyed here pretty well. I am curious though about the journalistic integrity. Most of the time the hosts refer to posts on Facebook to make their points, while simultaneously weaving the long thread of considering that people aren’t who they say they are online. I found myself wanting more of a “psychoanalytical” dive into what could have possibly been going on with the Harts, but the lack of that aspect may be due to lack of data. Overall, I’d recommend this podcast to friends, but not before a lot of others.

Sorry, but we live in an age of instant gratification and that’s just the way it is. Release it all at once. I couldn’t believe it when I...Read full review »
