The agony and the ecstasy
This show is about the human experience. It’s not a hermetically sealed montage of virtuosity and formality with artists as gods peering down from on high (albeit everyone involved is spectacular). This show is a conversation between humans about the experience of making this bizarre ineffable thing called art; the vulnerability of it, the luck, and the moments when the spark turns into a flame. Malcom Gladwell and Rick Ruben weave back and fourth between virtuosity, the human, and the universal. This podcast is a valuable contribution to a society obsessed with elevating few and disempowering the rest. Find art in your own life by listening to living breathing people who did it too. Really really well. Bravo. Lily

Hope to hear more from two American folk heroes. And you start with Eminem! Thought this thing had a lot of traction and I hope it becomes a super star hit.
